Driver Ed Class
What happens after I complete the class?
After completing the in-person driver education course, you will receive a certificate (required for an insurance discount).
After the online course is complete and the student is at least 15 years old, they will receive a form to go to the DMV and get their permit.
How long does it take to complete the class?
In-Person Class: We offer an in-person course with fifteen 2-hour in-person driver's ed classes taught by one of our licensed instructors. The total completion time will vary depending on the course you sign up for.
Online Class: This is a self-paced course where you can work on two daily classes. You can complete the course in as little as 15 days, but you have 90 days to work on it.
What happens if I miss a class?
Any classroom sessions absent /missed must have a legitimate excuse with a note from the sponsor explaining the reason. Only two classes may be missed. Any student absent/missing a classroom must attend the missed classroom at another time when the class is offered by this school.
Does the classroom have to be completed to start behind-the-wheel lessons?
Yes. Once you have completed the class and have your permit, you can schedule your driving lessons through our website.
Do I need a permit to start classes?
No permit is required to take the driver's ed class. The student must be at least 14.5 years old by the first day of class.

What is your refund policy?
There are no refunds if you have started the services you paid for. If you have a particular circumstance, call the office.
Do you charge a cancellation/no show fee?
If you fail to show up for a lesson, show up late, or come unprepared for your lesson (no permit), you will be charged an $80 no-show fee.
Cancellations under 24 hours can result in a cancelation fee of $80.
Do you offer payment plans?
We don't offer payment plans, but if you are doing classroom and behind the wheel with us, we can split the payment in two. $130 is due at the time of enrollment for the classroom, and $290 is due at your first BTW drive.

What if I forgot my username or password?
You can reset your username or password on our website by clicking the "Forgot your Username or Password?" link on the login page.
How old do I need to be to start driver's ed?
You must be at least 14.5 by the first day of the driver's ed class.
How long does it take to complete driver's ed?
The completion time depends on age, scheduling flexibility, and instructor availability.
Do I need a temporary license to start driver's ed?
If you are 18 or older, you'll need a valid, unexpired learner or driver's license to start driving lessons. If you are under 18 and have taken the driver education class, you'll need a valid, unexpired learner permit to start driving lessons. If you are between 14.5 and 17, you do not need a license or permit to take our driver education class.
Behind-the-wheel
Are your instructors licensed?
Yes, each of our instructors is licensed by the state to teach classroom and behind-the-wheel training to all age groups.
How fast can I complete behind-the-wheel lessons?
This depends on your scheduling flexibility and instructor availability. You can take one 2-hour behind-the-wheel lesson each day and schedule your driving lessons in advance. You must have 30 practice days between lessons.
What safety equipment are your cars equipped with?
Our vehicles have safety features (passenger brake, passenger mirror, student driver signs, etc.) that don't come in standard cars.
Can I use my own car?

Can I request to have lessons with a friend?
Yes, as long as there are two open spots for the same drive, you and your friend can both sign up.
Will I have other students in the car with me?
Yes, Wisconsin requires six hours of behind-the-wheel observation. You will be in the car for 2 hours; 1 hour of this will be for driving and the other for observation.
Will I have the same instructor for every lesson?
Our scheduling software lets you see all available driving lessons and who is teaching them. If the lessons are open, you may choose the same instructor for each lesson or try a different instructor.
When can I start the behind-the-wheel lessons?
You can start driving lessons anytime with a valid learner permit or driver's license. You can schedule driving lessons on our website once registered and paid in full. If you are under 18, you must complete the driver's ed class before starting behind-the-wheel lessons.
Do you offer home pick-up and drop-off?
Not at this time.
Drop off and pick up are at 2112 Wilberg Blvd St. Croix Falls, WI 54024.
Can I request a specific driivng instructor?
Our scheduling software lets you see all available driving lessons and who is teaching them. If your preferred instructor is open, you can select them for a lesson.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my driving lesson?
Should you need to reschedule a lesson, you may do so by logging into your account on our website. You must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee.
Do I need to have my own car insurance for behind-the-wheel?
No, you are covered under our commercial insurance during all behind-the-wheel training.
How do I schedule a behind-the-wheel lesson?
Log in to your student account on our website. Choose an available time and your preferred instructor.
What days do you offer BTW drives?
Drives are done on the weekends and on days when there is no school (winter break, summer break, etc.)
